Well, we'll soon be traveling alright... Back home to San Antonio, Texas at the end of October! For good. I won't say "for life." But I'll say for as long as the foreseeable future. We haven't lived there in almost twelve years. My husband and I left when we were twenty-one. We got married and moved to England, right outside of London. After that we lived in Las Vegas. Now we live in Key West. I'd say we've lived in some pretty exciting, enviable places. It feels like a good time to return to being official Texans (we always referred to ourselves as such, no matter where we are). And "Texan" is a great breed for our children to be.
We'll have a new baby, a new house, a new car (to fit the extra child in); old friends, old families (right? because the one the hubby and I have created together with these three kids and the dog is technically our new one, right?); and old faithfuls - meaning everything we'll ever need will be there; it's a big city. The news and excitement have set my posts back for almost a week. It'll be hectic and dramatic, but it'll be good.
