Wednesday Whatevsday

Already 10 pm but I feel like my day has just begun.

Husband fell asleep reading to the kids, who are asleep too,
and I'm just going to leave him there so I don't have to add sex
to my list of things to do.

10:00-10:30 find something to blog about and blog about it
10:30-10:45 walk the dog (although I'm already projected to run behind on this because I stopped to answer an email and because I'm not even finished with the first item on my list that I was supposed to be finished with twelve minutes ago)
10:45-11:05 read over work project and submit it; add title and headings
11:10-11:25 walk the dog here instead
11:20-11:40 will probably eat chocolate and fuck around on baby boutique websites and be out $50 when "break time" is up
11:40-11:55 make to-do list for the next couple of days for what needs to be done on my end for the upcoming launch of the literary magazine Alyssa and I are creating - by the way, email me at yve dot chairez at yahoo dot com if you have anything bold, poignant, and mind-altering you'd like us to consider featuring in the magazine
11:55-12:45 work on editing hubby's project for one of his grad classes (ironically, I'm so annoyed about having to do this in such a short time frame [because he does shit at the last minute and then it requires even heavier editing as a result] that I threatened to withhold sex from him [a threat I'm inadvertently following through with as we speak, so go me]; yet I'm being "paid" for this "freelancing job" in sexual favors - obviously I've got to work on my negotiating skills
12:45-1:00 stare at the electronic paperwork for an offer we got on our house that's up for sale in Las Vegas, and probably fail at figuring out how to initial all, like, 72 of the little lines I need to initial - might wake my husband up at this point (he needs to wake up at some point to move our kids to their own beds anyhow) and have him do it for me while I eat a piece of key lime pie and browse cover art for my magazine instead

  1. I vote chocolate and lit mag tasks, and then sleep. Should you find yourself in a similar situation this evening :)

  2. Ugh, I AM in a similar situation this evening! I have hubby's stuff up, looking at that; and a blank doc open for brainstorming lit mag copy.
