Monday Meditation

It's hard to look objectively at the small things when you're this pregnant. Despite the memes, pregnancy hormones are no joke. And today they got the best of me.

Reasons I cried today:

• I dropped a handful of cherries
• My husband forgot to take out the trash on his way to work
• I hit my funny bone
• The dog patch where our Boston terrier does his business smelled like pee, and it was being exacerbated by the sun; I couldn't get away
• My son bumped his head
• My daughter started crying because an Inside Out game she wanted on the iPad was a piece of shit
• Missed yoga class

Irrational things I did today:

• Told off the content manager from work
• Told hubby I'd edit one of his projects for his grad class (I will probably start crying when I start this)
• Forgot what time and day it was, so I missed yoga class

Crying, and admitting that I was crying, is a very big step for me in my emotional development. I'm often accused of being emotionless, so my husband gets really excited when I cry. Sounds fucked up. But that's my fault, not his. This too shall pass, though...
